Tips and Tricks:
Specific Searches
Students can search contacts by School Attended to find alumni connections, and they can select a particular industry in order to filter out irrelevant contacts. Saving contacts from the search results will give students a good list of professionals that can be used in a campaign since the shared alma mater may be just the connection needed to open the door to a dream job.
Using Group Administration to Best Advantage
The Group Administrator Panel provides key information pertaining to the members of the group. Armed with this knowledge, you can determine how often students are using CareerShift and decide how to best guide them in the job search.
Tips for Group Administrators:
Last Login – use this to determine when students last accessed CareerShift. This tells you right away whether the student has used the site at all, and how recently.
Number of Campaigns – tells you how many campaigns the student has completed. A low number of campaigns could indicate a need for more activity, while a high number might mean the student’s efforts are not targeted in a specific manner.
Group Reports – Exports a sorted list of group members to an Excel document.
